'Beyond the Soul' - Rajiv

The popular Malayalam film director Rajiv Anchal's Hollywood film
'Beyond the Soul' will be in theatres this summer.
Thampi Antony, brother of the popular Malayalam film star Babu Antony,
an NRI residing in California plays an important role in this movie as
a Guru of ayurveda medicine and treatments. Stan Christensen plays the
role of an American doctor, who is visiting Kerala to learn the
healing power of ayurveda to help his patient suffering from a rare
skin disease. Christensen learns through the Internet that ayurveda
has the power to heal rare disease. This film unravels the mystery and
highlights the strength of indigenous medicine.
The other main actors are Scott Anderson, Brian Berta and Melanie
Braxdon. Columbia College provides grant and students of this college
Navin, Ajoy and others helping Bill Nelson, the Hollywood camera
operator and Ramachandra Babu the director of photography in the
completion of this Indo-American film. Assistant director of the film
is Blessey Iype Thomas and the make up artist is Pattanam Rashid.
The film shooting started in Kovalam, then shifted its location to
Kumarakom and the rest will be done in Chicago. The film director
Rajiv Anchal focuses on the fact that ayurveda appeals to the body as
well as soul. Rajiv has done several outstanding movies in the past.
Guru was one of his notable films which got an OSCAR entry from India.
His other popular movies include Butterfly with Bharath
Mohanlal and Kashmeeram with Suresh Gopi.
